Community and Economic Development Associates
CEDA is a 501(c)3 that provides professional economic and community development consulting and staffing to rural communities throughout the Upper Midwest, with the majority of our contracts currently in Southeastern Minnesota. Our organization works to provide small cities with the tools needed to leverage assets and grow as residential, commercial, and industrial destinations, including encouraging entrepreneurism. We work with schools, institutional partners, government partners and others to provide tools including business counseling, revolving loan funds, and professional advising. Our reach is into rural communities that are often not part of the larger conversation, and yet host many innovative entrepreneurs.
What CEDA Offers the Ecosystem:
Events: We host and co-host events supporting entrepreneurs in over 30 communities in the area.

Small Business Education: CEDA Staff teach a wide spectrum of classes to local small business groups which can be expanded the serve the region.
In Person Communication to Disparate Communities: CEDA Staff serve on site in many small communities throughout the region and have developed deep and valuable relationships that can be leveraged.
